Alexa has also received a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to this program. Summer@Brown offers courses that are designed for students looking to experience college-level academics on an Ivy League campus. Reflecting Brown’s broad liberal arts curriculum, Summer@Brown features nearly 200 courses, designed and taught at the level of first-year college courses, and ranging in length from one to four weeks. Outside of class, students experience the independence and responsibility of life on an Ivy League campus. They meet fellow students from around the world and attend events, workshops, and social activities, including Prepare for College Success Workshops and the Summer@Brown Speaker Series. For the duration of their stay, students live and learn on the Brown University campus. See the video below to learn more about Summer@Brown.

The rising seniors had the opportunity to apply for two 2016 Elevation Scholar award. The first award included a price of 35,000 dollars, while the second award was of 5,000. Students had to fill out an extensive application, submit an essay, and request two teacher recommendation.
After the submission of their application, students were interviewed, and so was their parents and a teacher. In this round, some students were eliminated. Those that passed had to be interviewed by a panel of people called the Award Selection Committee. The committee included: Harvard graduates, Duke graduates, former winners, teachers, doctors, a psychologist, actors, businessmen, and the founders themselves. That was the final round.
